Emily Forster (Registered Nurse) - April 2024
Hello my name is Emily Forster and I am a student completing my nursing training. I recently did a placement at Romsey and Lancefield Medical Centres. I worked alongside the nursing staff and assisted the doctors with anything they needed.

I had the best experience at the medical centres, the staff were lovely and welcoming and the nursing team were patient, letting you participate in all tasks and always willing to help or show you anything else you wanted to know. They were more than happy to answer any questions you needed. I always felt comfortable enough to do this and never felt like no question was a silly question. I was always appreciated and felt part of the team at Romsey and Lancefield Medical.
Lauryn Bonnici (Medical Student) - October 2023
My name is Lauryn Bonnici, I approached Stephen the manager of Romsey and Lancefield Medical Centres, wishing to gain an understanding of the practical aspects and day to day occurrences of medicine. Being a first year Biomedicine student, this was an unusual request, however, I found Stephen to be very accommodating. Throughout my time at the clinic, the General Practitioners taught me about a variety of conditions. They explained their reasons for each diagnosis and why they recommended each treatment plan. The nurses demonstrated the correct way to perform health checks, such as those for diabetes and discussed the importance of care plans. The staff went out of their way to facilitate my needs, giving up their time for no benefit to themselves or the clinic. It really showed the commitment of this clinic to provide for their community in any way that they can.
Saba Fatima (Registrar) - February 2024
My name is Dr Saba Fatima and I worked at Romsey Medical Centre for 2 years as a GP Registrar, which was a wonderful experience for me, Dr Noel Cunningham, who was my supervisor, is very passionate about teaching, guiding and supporting registrars in their training. I had regular one-on-one sessions with Dr Cunningham as well as a weekly group session with the other doctors to discuss complex cases. Steve, the practice manager is very helpful and always available for everyone. The reception, nurses and the whole staff are very friendly and supportive. I had a great time with the team at Romsey Medical.

I would recommend to anyone in need of exceptional, holistic and compassionate general practice care that they see the team at Romsey and Lancefield Medical Centres. I had the pleasure of working at Romsey and Lancefield Medical Centres throughout 2024 as a General Practice Registrar. It was my first experience of working in the GP setting and I could not have asked for a more supportive environment. The guidance and support I received from Doctor Cunningham and the whole team was outstanding. All of the administration and nursing staff were fantastic to work with and always happy to go the extra mile when needed. I believe this genuine commitment to always strive to provide the best care possible is a reflection on the people of the Romsey and Lancefield community. They are fantastic people that always made it a pleasure and privilege to turn up each day and play a role in providing their care.

It was a pleasure for me to work at the Romsey and Lancefield Medical Centres in the Macedon ranges for 12 months. I have finished an important part of my training in the clinic and the team was very supportive and accommodating for my needs as a training registrar, starting from working hours, days and leave arrangement.
The staff who works there are very supportive and helpful starting from the well qualified admin team to the amazing nursing team, Steve the business manager who I can not thank enough for helping arranging my work time and made it easy to navigate and also my colleagues' doctors esp Dr Cunningham who was very helpful and I have learned a lot from him.
Wish all the people working there the best in their life and careers.
