Matthew Peet
Physiotherapist Matthew is a qualified physiotherapist with a Master's in Physiotherapy and a Bachelor's in sport science. Matt has a strong interest in sports injuries and rehabilitation. Matt is passionate about helping patients recover from musculoskeletal conditions and improve their quality of life. Matt's interests outside of work are basketball and gym work.


Melissa Beitner
General Surgeon - Bariatric Surgeon Dr. Melissa Beitner FRACS is a general surgeon, covering areas such as hernia repair, gallbladder surgery, endoscopy and gastroscopy. Dr. Melissa Beitner also specialises in obesity medicine and bariatric surgery. She leads a comprehensive & multidisciplinary weight management clinic, 360 SURGERY and consults at the Romsey Medical Centre.


Dr. Nimala Pinto
Dr. Nirmala has a strong background in obstetrics and gynecology and provides comprehensive family medicine with a focus on women's health, sexual and reproductive health, pediatrics, and chronic disease management. She is multilingual in English, Hindi, Marathi and Kannada. Outside of medicine, she enjoys music, cooking, hiking and spending time with her family and dog Major.


Dr Sowmya Asok Kumar
Dr. Sowmya's credentials include an MBBS and a Diploma in Emergency Medicine. She is passionate about geriatrics, paediatrics, women's health, mental health and managing chronic disease. Dr. Sowmya is also skilled in performing minor procedures. Dr. Sowmya prides herself on being an approachable, compassionate listener who delivers holistic care. Dr. Sowmya enjoys gardening and was raised in a family that treasures food as medicine. She promotes healthy eating habits and life


Say Goodbye to Dr. Khoulah Khan
Dr. Khoulah Khan unfortunately has to leave us in February 2026 to continue her specialist GP Training at another Medical Centre. This is part of the guidelines for GP training. We wish Dr. Khoulah Khan all the best and we will miss her.


Say Goodbye to Roslyn Redfern
Roslyn Redfern, an enthusiastic, compassionate and hard working member of our reception and admin team at the Romsey and Lancefield Medical Centres for the past 6 years has decided it is time to retire from working life. Ros will leave us at the end of February 2026. We wish Ros all the best in spending quality time with her family and perhaps travelling more.


First Aid Training
First aid and CPR training is part of the continuous improvement training undertaken by the clinical and administrative team at the Romsey and Lancefield Medical Centres.
